The Minister of Overseas, Sébastien Lecornu, arrived in Guadeloupe yesterday for a field visit and to take stock of the health situation in the territory and welcome the reinforcements from France. The Minister will meet with nursing staff from hospitals and visit a vaccination center. He will also participate in the weekly elected officials monitoring committee for the purposes of analyzing the current health situation and the implementation of possible additional measures to slow the spread of Covid-19 in Guadeloupe. Sébastien Lecornu should then leave for Martinique on Thursday August 12th.
