Inaugurated on May 10 by the President of the Republic François Hollande, the official date of the commemoration of the abolition of slavery in France, the Memorial ACTe opened its doors to the public yesterday. This building, built in the south of Pointe-à-Pitre, on the site of the former Darboussier sugar factory, offers a permanent exhibition of 1700 m2, retracing the history of slavery, from antiquity to today. .
