The ABC Inter Sport club stood out at the Créolophone tournament in Martinique with a gold medal won by Claude Lespérance in the heavy category (+ 91Kg) by KO and a silver medal for John Delanay in Super Walter (69kg).

The ABC Inter Sport club of Saint Martin has once again demonstrated the sporting qualities instilled in young people in the discipline of English Boxing on our island. ABC Inter Sport emerges once again grown with two qualified boxers from the club and two medals, one in gold and one in silver. The Créolophone boxing tournament in Martinique amateur, which was held from July 3 to Saturday, July 4, kept all its promises for the promotion of the noble Art. Seventeen sports confrontations saw the commitment of young people from the Antilles-French Guianas including Barbados and Saint Lucia. Our local glory Claude LESPERANCE, currently engaged in the army in Guadeloupe has once again demonstrated his superiority over the local boxers by a masterful knockout in the 2nd round in the final over a boxer from Barbados.

Suffering from local chauvinism towards their boxer, the young hopeful of Saint-Martin John DELANAY 69kg for his second fight since his debut last September lost in the final to a Martiniquais despite a technical demonstration of dodging and handing over which impressed the professionals and leaders present at the event. These are still two of the most precious medals received by the two boxers of ABC Intersport of Saint Martin. _AF
