Last Sunday, around 4 am, the national gendarmerie is informed of the disappearance of two teenagers in the lagoon of Simpson Bay.
It is a young man and a girl from Saint-Martin who sailed at night on the lagoon with a jet ski.
Not seeing them return to their homes, one of the families alerted the gendarmerie, which immediately engaged three patrols in the immediate vicinity of the place of disappearance and requested the assistance of the Sint Maarten police. The CROSS Antilles Guyanes coordinates maritime research.
