LEISURE: Olympic sports ticket: call for projects for local associations and businesses

The Community of Saint-Martin is launching a call for projects for local associations and/businesses to host sporting activities for young people aged 7 to 14, as part of the 2024 Olympic sports ticket. Registrations are open until to May 14, 2024.

Since 1998, the Ticket Sport system has been offered by the Community to welcome young people during the summer holidays. This operation allows young people to practice their favorite sport but also to discover new disciplines. In view of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the sports department intends to continue the formula where registered children will have the opportunity to discover various physical and sporting activities, in particular Olympic sports. This operation will highlight the history and sports of the Olympic Games. The reception will take place at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium and at the Halle des Sports with supervision provided by young people registered within the “Emploi Vacances” system. A program of activities is drawn up in consultation with all those involved in the operation. The activities will take place from July 8 to 31, 2024, in half-days by qualified sports educators and led by an operation manager.

This program has four priorities: promoting a local policy, promoting social diversity, promoting development and living together and encouraging the opening of the sporting horizon to young people.

To respond to this call for projects, associations under the law of July 1, 1901 or companies must complete the form via the following link:
