Solidarité Saint-Martin Moselle is looking for volunteers for a new cleaning project.

“We invite you to meet on Saturday August 11, 2018 from 08 am noon at 104D Route de Sandy-Ground to come and help Elodie finish cleaning her house. Don't forget to bring your gloves. The surface area to be cleaned is around 20 M2 ”indicates the association on the event's Facebook page.

"We already did a construction site with his grandmother a few weeks ago" specifies Arnaud Guffet, former soldier and president of the association.

Solidarité Saint-Martin Moselle, based in Yutz near the Luxembourg border, is one of the associations that was created in mainland France to help the victims of Irma in Saint-Martin.

In addition to raising funds, food and school materials in particular, the association has already carried out several excavation sites for individuals and professionals, thanks to the participation of an average of fifteen volunteers.

Among the projects carried out, there is the cleaning of the bakery Le Divin, on the seafront of Marigot, but also for a 75-year-old man in Grand Case, as well as an old convenience store in Oyster Pond, still in progress, which is scheduled for completion on September 15. In order not to over-solicit the volunteers, the association prefers to meet them only on Saturday morning.
