After the devastating passage of Hurricane Irma, the inhabitants of Martinique and Guadeloupe mobilized to come to the aid of the victims in Saint Martin.

This surge of solidarity was materialized by large-scale and spontaneous actions: like the “Round up to help” operation initiated by the Carrefour hypermarkets in Martinique, in partnership with the volunteers of the Territorial Delegation of Martinique.

Thanks to the generosity of their customers and in collaboration with the French Red Cross, the Carrefour Hypermarkets of Martinique have decided to offer a vehicle equipped with the Grand Kangoo Ludospace type that will allow teams to reach vulnerable and destitute people from Saint-Martin and thus offer them adapted, articulated support that complements existing systems.

The key delivery ceremony for this new vehicle will take place on Friday January 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Maison Croix-Rouge, in Concordia, rue Soleil Levant. _AF
