Following the presence of a strong swell in the NNW sector, and at the request of the Department of the Sea, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin has decided to open the Sandy-Ground bridge exceptionally this Tuesday, December 6 at 12:30 p.m.
The bridge will then return to its usual hours. In addition, the Direction de la Mer invites all owners of pleasure craft to take the appropriate measures to guard against the risk of loss of mooring/anchoring following the presence of this swell. Forecasts foresee a persistence of this phenomenon until the end of next week.
