Sébastien ARCOS, Director of schools at CCI Lyon Métropole Saint-Etienne Roanne, EKLYA School of Business and HYBRIA Institute of Business & Technologies, was present last Wednesday in the premises of the CCISM to present the possibilities of higher studies possible for students from Saint-Martin high schools in its establishments.

He was able to inform several high school students and parents about the programs, job openings and admission procedures:

EKLYA School of Business, offers a Bachelor in Business Development program, in 3 years, allowing students to gain professional experience through internships and actions for companies. It also allows you to go on academic mobility to a school abroad among EKLYA partners (for example Birmingham, Dublin or Santander) or to participate in international competitions such as GIF in South Korea. Finally, it helps to refine the student's professional project thanks to the third year options. It is a program carried out in partnership with emlyon where the courses are led by consultants and business experts.

This program is open to all Bachelor profiles.

HYBRIA Institute of Business & Technologies is a 5-year post-baccalaureate school, combining engineering sciences - carried out with INSA Lyon - and management sciences. As a result, the program is only open to graduates of Terminale S or STI2D. During the 5 years, the student will be confronted with numerous internships and a year of international mobility, within a partner school and within a company.

These two schools are located in Lyon, on the West Lyonnais Campus which bring together many large schools. As a result, student residences are nearby and the Campus is very accessible by public transport. The building has been completely renovated by the CCI of Lyon and the schools therefore offer an important quality of welcome. The courses are given in human-sized formats with around 25 students per module.

Regarding the admission procedures, these two schools have chosen not to join the Parcoursup platform. To apply, Sébastien ARCOS decided on a simplified procedure for Saint-Martin residents. No competition: interested high school students must send an email to s.arcos@lyon-metropole.cci.fr. A file will be completed and a Skype interview will be carried out. There will be no competition fees or application fees. Other information, and this is the advantage of not being on Parcoursup, the admission responses are given very quickly so that those admitted can prepare for their return to school in the best conditions.
