During a press conference organized last Thursday, the prefect of Guadeloupe, Alexandre Rochatte, announced the maintenance of the restrictive measures already applied in the territory.

Travel between Guadeloupe and Martinique, Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands are subject to compelling reasons.

Between France and Guadeloupe, the test remains compulsory 72 hours before. "It is a good filter to limit the possibilities of recontamination and it limits, in fact, the number of travelers", indicated Valérie Denux, director of the ARS in Guadeloupe and also specifying that "it is not the new arrivals from Metropolitan France who revived the epidemic here, but many people from the Northern Islands, and particularly from Saint-Martin. Hence the obligation now to take the test for any travel from and to the Northern Islands ”.

Arrival of 85 antigenic tests

85 antigenic tests have arrived in Guadeloupe. Half will be devoted to health professionals, the other distributed in municipalities, airports, ports ... especially between the Northern Islands and Guadeloupe._AF
