Created last July, SAS Tintamarre has just published its first contract notice for the "construction of underground infrastructure supporting Fttx networks", in other words for the realization of underground civil engineering works for the connection of networks of telecommunications in optical fiber in part French.
The contract is divided into three lots (north, east and west parts). According to the pre-established schedule, the work will be spread over two years. In 2021, it is planned to achieve 40 linear meters and 000 linear meters in 31. Next year the work will concern the sectors of Colombier, Grand Case, Mont Vernon, Saint-Louis, La Savane, Cul de Sac, Bellevue , Orient Bay and Orleans District. The following year will be concerned Marigot, Sandy Ground, Concordia, Spring, Galisbay, Agrément, Pic Paradis, Morne Valois and Friar's Bay. Note that the Baie Nettle and Terres Basses sectors are bundled by a private operator (TDH Tel) and not by SAS Tintamarre.
As a reminder, the company was created to build, finance and operate fiber optic networks. It has three shareholders: the COM for 40%, the Caisse des Dépôts for 40% and operators for 20%. It wishes to make possible the deployment of very high speed in the territory by 2023-2024.
