After Hurricane Irma, the EDF corporate foundation launched a call for donations from its employees to support Saint-Martin; 4 came forward and 600 euros were raised. The foundation chose to donate them to the community; together they identified four actions to finance.
The first two consist of rehabilitating the roofs of vulnerable people and distributing vouchers to buy essential equipment (household appliances, etc.). A total of 100 euros will be devoted to these two actions (000 € each).
The third action funded by donations from the foundation is the acquisition of computer equipment for eight schools for € 40.
Finally, the last action is the funding of actions in favor of youth. A call for projects will soon be launched to select an association project with a cultural and / or sporting vocation. The day before the foundation had signed a similar agreement with the COM of Saint-Barthélemy to which it offered a check for 42 euros.
