During mathematics week, from March 13 to 17, teachers from the Grande Section of the Evelina Halley school organize daily mathematical workshops for students.
Geometric construction workshops, on the numbers, board games and orientation are offered to the delight of children.
Ms. Lamort Delphine emphasizes "the importance of allowing kindergarten students to participate in math week through fun activities".
In the new kindergarten programs, teachers must help their pupil to build the first tools to structure their thinking (use and study of numbers, exploration of shapes, sizes and organized sequences).
