The purpose of the La Couronne - Espace Intergénérationnel association is to promote any action that contributes to maintaining social ties.
In partnership with the General Social Security Fund of Guadeloupe (call for tenders in Saint-Martin) and the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, the association has been organizing since March 18 collective actions in favor of aging well at home. They concern 384 people divided into four groups per module. These workshops are run in French, Creole, English and Spanish by speakers from Saint-Martin, Guadeloupe and Martinique.
One of these actions, entitled “Living well in retirement”, is aimed at autonomous retired people. It takes place from March 18 to April 4, in four three-day sessions, in groups.
The second action, entitled “Welcome to retirement”, is aimed at future or new retirees. It will take place from April 23 to June 5, in four three-day sessions and in groups.
Finally, the third action, focused on nutrition, concerns all retired people aged 55 and over and living at home. It will take place from May 13 to 29, in four three-day sessions and in groups.
