Payment of emergency accommodation costs for tenants of the Flanders building in Grand-Case

0

On October 24, the tenant of a building located at 60 rue Millrum belonging to Mr. Guy Flanders of Grand-Case, made a complaint to the prefecture, then to the territorial police for "visible disorders in his apartment ".

Following a visit to the premises by the urban planning services, it turned out that the building presented a danger. As required by the procedure, a report was drawn up and the president of the Community took an order of imminent serious danger.

After having notified the current procedure to the owner and to each occupant of the building, an emergency relocation request was made by the occupants of three apartments to the Territorial Police. The other occupants signed a release to stay in the building, pending the visit of the building expert.

In an emergency, the Collectivity took charge of the rehousing of the three families for a total amount of 1970 €. This amount will be charged to the owner in accordance with the law. The Executive Council voted in favor of the execution of this expense. _AF
