“For me, Carnival is an annual project, and not only for the day of the parade, but also and above all with all the preparation that I do beforehand. For 3 or 4 months I do cardio every day to get in shape and work my endurance for the 2 days of parades in the hot sun, but I also work my muscles to be able to support the weight of the suit on my shoulders without ever having to remove it.
As queen of the parade and carnival ambassador, I attach particular importance to my appearance. I want to be flawless to represent our “Friendly Island” with the signature of our friendly smile and interact with the public.
When I wear a costume, especially an individual piece, I must have the posture that will enhance the beauty and splendor of both my costume and myself. ”
