Come and scare yourself on Saturday at the Sint Maarten zoo from 17 p.m. to 30 p.m. The St. Maarten Zoological & Botanical Garden Foundation and the students of the Caribbean International Academy (CIA) are organizing the Halloween party with the theme “Boo! at the Zoo ”. A host of activities - show, DJ, live performance - will be offered to the whole family. You can even roast marshmallows while listening to spooky stories around a fire. As part of this popular event, several prizes will be awarded including that of the best costume. Zoo management therefore encourages visitors to dress up. "The goal this year is to have a successful event that is both bizarre and appropriate enough for the little ones so that everyone leaves with a smile." The zoo - which opened in December 21 - is located on Arch Road, next to Salt Pond (admission $ 1991 in costume, $ 5 without costume). _EH
