Last Saturday took place the first session of the new Kitesurf Sports Association of the Cité Scolaire.
The students and their teacher met at the Wind Adventures club for this great first in the entire Antilles / Guyana academy, namely the opening of the kitesurfing sports section of the school complex.
This is open to students registered with the NATIONAL UNION OF SCHOOL SPORT (UNSS) and makes accessible yet expensive practices such as kitesurfing.
Practitioners of all levels have therefore been able to indulge in the discovery or practice of air-dragging on the beach of Orient-Bay.
On the program for the day, cata'kite for beginners, free-ride for experienced and free-style for the most experienced.
The UNSS Kitesurf of the Cité Scolaire thanks the Wind Adventures club and the Tropikite association who lent a hand for this first, as well as to the headmaster Mr Gumbs who allowed access to this discipline.
We bet that the return of the trade winds will allow the smooth running of the sessions scheduled each Saturday morning.
