Swimming: Carib Swim Team swimmers once again plunged into the deep end!

0

Sunday, September 27 was marked by the resumption of the sports season at the Carib Swim Team swimming pool in Cole Bay with an internal competition organized for all swimmers (beginners and experienced, children and adults).

Many personal records have been achieved with several swimmers competing to qualify for the Caribbean championships, not to mention the French championships at the end of the season!

As a reminder, Sacha Gibbs and Matias Piazza qualified last year for the CARIFTA (Caribbean Championships) planned in Barbados but postponed due to Covid-19.

Otherwise, the Carib Swim Team swimming school is still in place for this new 2020-2021 season with baby swimmers, competition groups, beginners to advanced adults).

Two coaches and five instructors invest daily in training and individual or group lessons.

The SNSM (National Society for Rescue at Sea) also carries out its training of lifeguard swimmers at the Cole Bay swimming pool.

Note that the Carib Swim Team is a swimming club for all, affiliated to the French Swimming Federation (FFN) and whose French swimmers will represent Saint-Martin this year at the Guadeloupe Championships and the French Championships. Did you say broad program? _AF
