ART / Zincart artistic project: part three

0

Never two without three, and it will not be the last, let's find Zincart and his giant sculpture of Iron Man whose body is now complete.

A little reminder for those who would not have followed the first episodes of this artistic feat: the zinc roofer craftsman but above all the Zincart sculptor put his toolkit in the grounds of the Tribute Hotel in Baie Nettlé for children. next nine months, time needed to realize his new artistic project, to build an Iron Man sculpture almost four meters high that will adorn the gardens of the complex where works of art and nods to the great masters of painting coexist in harmony. The body of the sculpture is made of 640 pieces of wood, all drawn, cut, sculpted and assembled by hand. After our second appointment with Zincart, the lower limbs were posed, as well as the torso and the right arm. It is now a complete super hero who stands before us, in all his splendor and majesty. The artistic piece may still be in the making, it does not remain impressive in terms of realism and power. You could say that the hardest part is done, but that's it. The next step will be the work of brass and copper to give the wooden body the typical colors of the fictional character, namely red, golden yellow and silver. The piercing eyes that can already be guessed will scrutinize passers-by because the head of this unique Iron Man will be equipped with motion detectors, so it will follow passers-by who will linger in front of the work. Everything has been carefully thought out beforehand so that the experience is faithful to the legend of the character. The next few weeks will be decisive given the extreme care required by materials such as brass and copper. But Zincart's talent, dexterity and artistic vision suggest that the evolution of sculpture will be beyond everyone's expectations. _VX
