Air / Covid-19: Mandatory test to travel to Guadeloupe from Saint-Martin

0

By prefectural decree of October 30, 2020 the prefecture of Guadeloupe, on a proposal from the Director General of the Regional Health Agency of Guadeloupe, prohibits entry by air into Guadeloupe to people coming from Saint-Martin, aged eleven years and more who do not have a negative result of an antigen test or virological screening (PCR) established less than 48 hours before the flight.

This provision does not apply:

• To travelers making a return trip between the two territories within a period of less than 48 hours;

• To travelers providing proof of a transport ticket, in transit to Paris airports and whose waiting time between the arrival of the plane from Saint-Martin and the departure of the plane to Paris does not exceed 4 hours.

These provisions take effect on Wednesday November 4 and apply until November 17 inclusive. As a reminder, travel to Guadeloupe and from Guadeloupe to Saint-Martin remains limited to only imperative travel of a personal or family nature, of an emergency medical nature or for a professional reason that cannot be postponed.
