Air: What flights are still operated?

0

Restrictions on commercial flights are currently underway on the islands of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin.

Air France and Air Antilles

Flights from Juliana to Sint-Maarten and to the mainland are maintained until Sunday inclusive. Passengers who already hold an Air France ticket to the mainland for a departure scheduled later and who wish to advance their return are asked to arrive daily at 13 p.m. at Juliana airport to be placed on the waiting list . Return flights after Sunday are not guaranteed at this time.

Certain Air Antilles flights departing from Grand Case Espérance are maintained and still have places available. Travelers wishing to travel to Guadeloupe can contact the airline to purchase tickets.

Please note: connections with Air France flights from Pointe à Pitre to Paris are not guaranteed.

Air Caribbean

Friday and Sunday flights from Juliana are canceled.

Returns to mainland France via Pointe à Pitre from Grand-Case Espérance airport are not guaranteed. Indeed, if it is still possible to reach Pointe à Pitre, the long-haul link from Pointe à Pitre to the mainland is complete until March 26. Travelers therefore risk having to be confined for several days in Guadeloupe or Martinique. The company advises travelers who have family in Saint-Martin to wait while waiting for a more suitable solution.

Contact the prefecture in case of difficulty

Travelers encountering difficulties with their plane tickets can contact the prefecture by sending an email with their names, details of their plane tickets, and their phone number.

It is however recalled that it is everyone's responsibility to get in touch with the airline concerned for the management of air tickets and insurance conditions.
