On Tuesday, February 2, the gendarmerie arrested five people in the Sandy-Ground and Concordia neighborhoods. They are suspected of having participated in the shooting that took place on November 11 at Sandy-Ground. All were taken into custody.
Six searches were also carried out. The large-scale operation mobilized no less than forty soldiers.
“As a reminder, a person had already been arrested during a previous operation for distinct facts but had also been confused for the shooting. The individual is currently in detention ”, specifies the gendarmerie.
The investigations are led by an examining magistrate from Basse-Terre.
