The regional health agency confirmed yesterday morning six new cases of covid-19 in St-Martin, this brings to 84 the total number of confirmed cases in the French part.
She also announces the death which occurred on Sunday in the intensive care unit of the CHU de Guadeloupe, of a 62-year-old Saint-Martinois evacuated on Friday evening.
The number of active cases is 34 in the French part, 33 people are confined to their homes and 1 is hospitalized. 1 tests have been carried out since mid-March.
In the Dutch part, sixteen new cases were confirmed on Sunday and Monday, bringing the total number of people who have been infected in Sint Maarten to 205.
