The “Bricos du Coeur” week is an event organized by the “Bricos du Coeur” association in partnership with associative structures and companies.
The purpose of this annual solidarity week is to “help those who help”. For Saint Martin, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs were asked in 2019 by the associations Sandy on the Move and SOS Children of the Northern Islands. We responded to their call by setting up two “Bricos du Coeur” projects.
“With the first association, we have started making garbage cans and planters, so that everyone can take control of the gesture and the tool independently. It is this action which is the subject of the invitation of January 22nd, in cancellation of that of January 15th initially announced. We will present and hand over the first manufactured objects at 10 am to the Sandy Ground container ”, specifies Catherine Berchoux, Project Manager at the Compagnons Bâtisseurs.
“For the second association, we brought together volunteers to give a new face to the facade”, she underlines, before concluding, “the culture of“ jollification ”contributes to living well together in Saint Martin, and Compagnons Bâtisseurs have been able to join this local movement ”. _AF
