David Charles' gun death in Quartier d'Orléans: Condolences of President Daniel Gibbs

0

“I was very saddened to learn of the death of young David Charles in Quartier d'Orléans, Sunday, January 12, from a gunshot injury.

This drama, which occurred during the handling of a weapon by young people, once again mourns our community by taking the life of a 16-year-old adolescent. An investigation was opened to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy and to determine the responsibilities.

I have a touched thought for her family and friends, and for our employee, Mrs. Claudette Flanders, devastated by this tragedy.

I would like, on behalf of the elected officials of the Territorial Council of Saint-Martin and on my own behalf, to convey our comfort and our sympathy to the family and loved ones of the victim. We send them our sincere condolences and the assurance of our unwavering support. "
