After a good rain which allowed them to enjoy a galette des rois in the shelter, the team of volunteers, equipped with gloves and large trash bags, cleaned the entire coast for a good 2 hours.
The twenty volunteers were not unemployed and collected, among other things, fishing strings, reclining kayaks for over a year, old engines and of course the too many plastic waste littering the ground.
These ecological and civic actions are organized almost every Sunday, the volunteers grouped under the association "Clean St Martin" have for vocation to clean the beaches and the littoral of the island. Remarkable and necessary actions that benefit everyone!
