The public flocked to the SM'Art Faxinfo Art Gallery in Bellevue last Friday, for the opening of Didier Rouxel's photo exhibition on Japan through the island of Shikoku and its 88 temples. All of them underlined the exceptional quality of the exhibition and the variety of the works exhibited.

A true photography enthusiast, Didier Rouxel offers a journey through his superb photos which show the beauty of the Japanese archipelago.

A timeless exhibition where the artist wanted to highlight this rural Japan, often unknown to the general public. He invites people to relive with him his stay full of emotions through splendid photographs taken on the spot.

More rural than tourist, the island of Shikoku is renowned for its rich nature and its pilgrimage to 88 Buddhist temples. Whatever the desired goal, the Shikoku pilgrimage is an adventure rich in encounters, teachings and memories that mark a life. Didier Rouxel, who never separates from his camera, has brilliantly immortalized all these moments of life and emotions. Well done the artist! Now it's up to you to enjoy it at the SM'Art Faxinfo Art Gallery in Bellevue. The exhibition is open to the public until April 30. Not to be missed ! _AF
