On the night of Monday to Tuesday, around 2 a.m., for reasons still unknown, a fire broke out inside the Forum Caraïbes store located in downtown Marigot.
"The rapid arrival of the firefighters made it possible to contain the fire", underlines the captain, Cyrille Pallud, head of the center. “In the 400 m2 store, only material damage is to be reported”. The intervention required the presence of 11 firefighters. No injuries are reported. Note that the firefighters were called an hour later for the start of a fire at the Rainbow Café restaurant in Grand-Case. The fire was finally extinguished thanks to the effective intervention of a resident even before the arrival of the firefighters. _AF
