0

The Saint-Martin Water and Sanitation Establishment (EEASM) is continuing the gradual extension of the collective sanitation network in Quartier d'Orléans.

This investment will enable the population to benefit from the collection and treatment of their wastewater at the Quartier d'Orléans treatment plant.

The next streets to be equipped with a public sanitation network are: rue du Coton, rue Chic Chic, rue des Acacias, rue Prickel Pear, rue Gourday.

Work began this week, starting with rue du Coton, and will end in June 2023.

Note that the first section under construction will be closed to traffic (except local residents) on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 17 p.m., parking is also prohibited near the site.

The EEASM thanks the population for its support in this process aimed at improving the health and environmental situation of the island.

This work has received financial aid from the European Union (ERDF) as part of the program to extend the wastewater collection network in Quartier d'Orléans, for a total amount of €4.
