For many years in Saint-Martin, the boxing club "ABC Intersport" and more recently "Orléans Boxing Club SXM" work hard to create social ties through this sport.
Indeed, by learning the "Noble Art", Philippe Arrendel and Leonardo Incardona hope to convey values such as rigor and respect for the frame and the opponent, both in the club and in the lives of all days.
Hence the desire of these boxing enthusiasts to organize regular interclub meetings bringing together young boxers from Saint-Martin. This was again the case last Saturday on the basketball court in Quartier d'Orléans where many young people were introduced to English boxing.
A beautiful sporting event, organized by "Orléans Boxing Club SXM", which is part of the City's Policy, in order to promote English boxing, one of the sports disciplines synonymous with social cohesion for the island. _AF
