Receptionist at the Bleu Émeraude hotel for three years, Kelly Degallerie is at the forefront of tourism-related professions. A passion that she has always had and that she puts at the service of her territory.

Being in contact with customers is what motivates Kelly Degallerie every day. “I like the welcome, communicating with people,” she explains. As far back as she can remember, Kelly has always intended for this profession. Holder of a professional service baccalaureate, she began her career at the La Playa hotel, where she worked for 12 years. After taking a little rest following the closure of the hotel during Hurricane Irma in 2017, she worked for a few months at the Centr 'Hotel in Marigot then was hired in October 2018 at the boutique hotel Bleu Émeraude, located on Grand-Case beach.

Hotel reception is her way of traveling and opening up to the world. “I'm someone who doesn't travel a lot because I'm claustrophobic so I'm afraid of planes. Thanks to my job, I talk to people who come from all over the world, I keep abreast of what is happening around the world, ”she explains. For Kelly Degallerie, her job is a source of pride: "as the economy of Saint-Martin is based on tourism, I am happy to be part of this sector".
