About fifty young Adventists participated in several actions in Marigot, the occasion of Global Youth.
From 7 a.m., it was the scouts who prepared breakfast for those in need under the happy gaze of the director and president of the Manteau de Saint-Martin, in the person of Madame GIL Audrey and Madame BRIDE Helen. The leader Gisèle coordinated this action with some executives. Indeed, the volunteers of the Manteau de Saint-Martin (Accommodation and Social Reintegration Center) have given way to the scouts of the Church of Marigot. The young people were very good sermons distributing 40 meals and gifts. For the happiness of users, a group of young people performed several songs of praise.
A few steps away, near the Collectivity and near the market kiosk, the youngest adventurers and a few scouts came into contact with the population by distributing nearly 200 smiles, under the coordination of the leader Quincesse Sidwha and her team of frame. Going up rue de hollande, other young people accompanied the health team and manager Marie-Line Saint-Louis Gabriel to set up a health stand where 61 people were listed. The aim of this stand was to prevent chronic non-communicable diseases (cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, etc.) and to offer the population free and anonymous HIV screening with the partnership of the AIDES association. . In the north of the city, the rest of the young people took over the Louis Constant Fleming hospital, under the coordination of Arlène Jeffry-Covini, by distributing, to 90 hospitalized patients, gifts and encouragement. The young people of the Church also offered a mini concert in the entrance hall of the hospital.
In the afternoon, the members of the choir, under the direction of Joncard Augustin, offered a moment of comfort to the elderly at the EHPAD of Bettany Home.
