A large stock of personal hygiene products from Metropolitan France has been distributed in different places on Saint-Martin thanks to the good collaboration between the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Gendarmerie.
The soldiers of the EGM 21/2 of Mont de Marsan carried out this task. Madame De Saint Alary, ARS representative at the Prefecture, accompanied the gendarmes on this tour of the dispensaries, which were set up on the island following hurricane Irma.
The distribution ended with the maternity hospital at Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital in Marigot, where boxes filled with baby wipes and feminine hygiene kits were placed. Mr Moreno, director of the CH, appreciated the gesture and thanked this initiative carried out jointly by the ARS and the Gendarmerie. _AF
