Prime Minister William Marlin was tasked earlier this week by Sint Maarten Governor Eugene Holiday to form a new government following last month's elections. He will have to present his political formation by next October 27. William Marlin said on Wednesday he hoped to complete the formation of the new government before that deadline. Adding that he wanted the new Council of Ministers to be sworn in on October 31. The two parties that form the coalition - United People's (UP) party and the National Alliance (NA) - have thus received the documents to be completed - a selection process - for their candidate ministers. Everything will be forwarded to the governor, the attorney general and the National Security Service (VDSM). _EH
