Organized by the National Institute of Arts (NIA), the fourth edition of the Festival of Culture and the Arts (NIACA) will take place on Monday at the John Larmonie center from 18 p.m.
This event - showcase of traditional and contemporary works - was created in 2012 to celebrate the art of our territory. This new session promises “high caliber performances”, according to the festival: the public will notably be able to listen to an excerpt from “Treemonisha”, an opera by Scott Joplin and discover the new choreography of the NIA entitled “Humans”, featuring poetry by Drisana Deborah Jack and the choreography by Peggy Oulerich. There will also be works of art on display by several artists from Head Made Factory. _EH
