Police in Sint Maarten are investigating a traffic accident, which took place on Friday July 16, in which a three-year-old fell from a scooter.
The events took place around 20:30 p.m., when the mother, accompanied by her child, was shopping in a store in the Dutch Quarter. For no apparent reason, the child left the facility and got on a man's two-wheeler. The scooter driver, who is an acquaintance of his mother, left the scene when for unknown reasons he lost control of his machine, dragging the child who fell on the sidewalk with it.
The individual immediately got back on his scooter and disappeared into the wild, without worrying about the state of health of the child, remember him only 3 years old!
Suffering from several abrasions on the hands, feet and the back of the head, the victim was taken care of by rescue teams who quickly arrived at the scene of the accident.
An investigation is underway. As for the driver of the two-wheeler, he is actively wanted by the Dutch police. AF
