As recently announced, a special team of police has been set up to crack down on reckless drivers of scooters and motorcycles, which endanger the safety of motorists, pedestrians and other partly Dutch road users.
Over the past weekend, law enforcement arrested several dangerous pilots. This led to the arrest of two people, eight fines and 15 scooters seized. Police had previously warned motorcyclists that strict measures will be taken against reckless behavior. "Young people on two wheels have become more brazen and insensitive when driving on public roads," said a representative of the Dutch police.
The authorities strongly condemn this dangerous and illegal conduct and intend to strike hard to stop this irresponsible behavior.
