LOCAL CRAFTS: The Quartier d'Orléans cultural market returns this weekend

0

The September edition originally scheduled for last weekend had to be postponed due to the passage of the tropical storm. The Quartier Orléans cultural market is therefore back in force this Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m.

The organizers, Eléa, a graduate in agronomy, and her brother Obadiah, a self-taught craftsman, invite the population to discover or rediscover the joys of their local, craft and cultural market during the two afternoons of this weekend. The stands are diverse and varied, always highlighting local confections and products: candied coconut, sweet potatoes, pudding, homemade caramels, Linda sweets, local honey, pies, fresh fruit juices, trunk soaps -the eye in the shape of a cupcake, cake or lollipop, vegetarian or vegan pizza prepared by Obadiah in his artisanal oven, or even aromatic plants and herbs. Children will be entertained with, among other things, the miniature golf course. The Quartier d'Orléans cultural market opens at 14 p.m. and is located at number 11, impasse Mont Saline. All you have to do is follow the signposts that will lead you to this market whose reputation is well established.  _VX
