Claret Connor, Minister of Tourism, Transport and Telecommunications, welcomed delegates to the International Congress for Caribbean Archeology (IACA) earlier this week in Maho. The event, which ends on Saturday, welcomes more than 200 delegates from 23 countries. Mr. Connor thanked the congress for having chosen Sint Maarten to organize their 26th edition. The headquarters of the IACA is located in Guadeloupe. The first congress was held in 1961.
