As part of press week, the students of Clair Saint-Maximin school (Quartier d'Orléans) and their teacher Ms. Tondu participated, last Thursday, in the program "Parents Beware" on local radio " Youth Radio ”.
The pupils presented their “Radio 7 stars CSM” project with great dynamism as part of the “educational support” program.
“Radio 7 STARS CSM” is in fact a school radio station which enables students in the Quartier d'Orléans to acquire a research methodology, diversified reading strategies and a critical mind allowing them to make relevant choices.
This project also allows them to put into action essential skills: taking notes, ordering their ideas, making a plan, manipulating and using technical objects such as the tape recorder, the telephone or the computer.
This innovative project proposed by Ms. Tondu improves the language skills of small schoolchildren while educating them in the media and information.
The two radio presenters said that they had already produced three programs. During press week, these programs will be offered to the other pupils of the school._AF
