0

The “Gineste-Marescotti Care Methodology” called Humanitude was created by Rosette Marescotti and Yves Gineste, this method is a humanist and rehabilitating approach.

It is a philosophy based on an emotional approach and respect for human rights. Targeted, concrete training, directly with people with physical and mental disabilities, people with behavioral disorders and / or presenting difficulties for the teams.

CASEDOM îdn, a personal services company based in Saint-Martin since 2007, therefore wanted to make this training benefit, because of the difficult mobilizations, to its social assistants who work with the elderly and disabled.

The training was led by Ms. Geneviève HUSSER, certified Humanitude trainer from April 9 to 13, 2017. She introduced employees to techniques to soothe difficult care and improve working conditions at home.

Indeed, this training provides solutions quickly applicable to critical situations (refusal, opposition, shouts, agitation, insults, withdrawal, immobilization syndrome) during accompaniments, care (toilets, changes, transfers, meals.) .

Among the tools of Humanitude, Sensory Capture makes it possible to suppress 80% of the pathological agitation behaviors of elderly people suffering from Alzheimer's disease, parkinson's and related.

At the end of the training, the carers will have achieved the following objectives:

- Acquire a treatment methodology that places each intervention in the philosophical line determined by the personalized support projects.

- Acquire the tools of Humanitude to promote daily good treatment.

- Improving the caregiver-helped relationship: developing a range of safe and gentle gestures, an essential condition for establishing a relationship of trust.

- Know how to use the look, the word, touch as a communication tool in the treatment.

- Acquire skills in relational handling towards verticality.
