The community of Saint-Martin has renovated the markings on the ground for the parking and traffic areas, located route du Fort Louis in Marigot. The objective of this work, initiated by the Sustainable Development Pole of the Community, was to reaffirm by marking on the ground the authorized parking areas, especially in the upper part of the street where the traffic lane was no longer respected . Thanks to this rehabilitation, the two traffic lanes (up and down) are once again passable and the security conditions allowing emergency vehicles to access the parking lot of Fort Louis, where many tourists go, are again combined. Any motorist who does not respect this marking on the ground may receive a ticket for inconvenient parking. The community can also proceed to the removal of the vehicle by the pound.
