Public procurement: Why some companies are no longer paid

0

At the beginning of January, the company which ensures the cleaning of the toilets in the nursery school of Grand Case had stopped working because it was no longer paid by the Community. Friday, it was those who provide school transportation who mentioned the same reason for not providing their services. These two companies are not the only ones, others are in the same situation and see their services provided to the COM more remunerated.

The suspension of payments follows a more rigorous control by the State services of contracts resulting from public contracts and as soon as irregularities are noted, payments made by Public Finances and not by the COM directly are stopped. Irregularities are understood to mean problems in the drafting of the contract, in the course of the procedure or the lack of documents in the file.
