Blue zone: start of works at Marigot

0

The kick-off of work to delimit the blue parking area at Marigot will take place on Thursday, announced the Community. This area, which will accommodate 450 parking spaces, should be operational in mid-November.

This measure, which is part of the revitalization of Marigot acted by deliberation of the executive council last May, aims to “regulate parking in downtown Marigot, by initiating a continuous rotation of vehicle parking lots” . Tourists will be able to park more easily, according to the COM. The blue zone will concern the boulevard de France (from number 1 to the fishermen's street), the rue de la République, the rue de la Liberté, the rue du Général de Gaulle, the rue Saint-James, the rue du président Kennedy, rue Victor Maurasse and rue de ville de ville. The parking time has been set at 1 hours maximum from 30 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, except Sundays and public holidays. Each household will receive a free disc.
