Regulations: Lawyers to debate the planned Accessibility Agenda

0

As part of the partnership agreement signed in 2018, the bar association of Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin in collaboration with the CCISM (Interprofessional Chamber of Saint-Martin) organized, last Friday, a conference-debate on the theme of the programmed accessibility agenda (AD'AP).

This conference-debate had two objectives, firstly to better educate socio-professionals on the regulations in force in Saint-Martin, and then that the professionals of the island do not get scammed by letters they receive on payment of sums due, supposedly for upgrading to accessibility standards.

For Angèle Dormoy, President of the CCISM, “it is very important that we can inform professionals in Saint-Martin about the regulations that apply locally and alert them to false documents. False documents which circulate and which demand quite exorbitant sums for a regulation which is not applicable in Saint-Martin… ”.

Members of the Bar were present to provide specific information on this specific codification for Saint-Martin. "Our technical advisor to the CCISM, Maître Sandrine Jabouley, and other members of the Guadeloupe Bar came to ensure that the information is as precise as possible on these regulations".
