Presentation of the new DGS and HRD

On Thursday, August 31, the President of the community, Daniel GIBBS, officially presented to the senior executives of the community the new Director General of Services (DGS), Philippe MOUCHARD, and the new Director of Human Resources (HRD), Paul DOLLIN . The day before, the President introduced these two senior administrative officers of the community to the elected members of his team. 

Both took up their new duties on Friday September 1, 2017. The handover was made in the presence of DGS Philippe MILLON who asserted his retirement rights as of September 1, and HRD Vernon ROPER, who will occupy new functions within the community.

Surrounded by deputy general managers, directors of services and members of his cabinet, President GIBBS wished to salute the involvement of Philippe MILLON, who arrived in Saint-Martin in 2015, and of Vernon ROPER, who, in the words of the President "Is part of the walls of the community", to practice there since 1988.

“Our institution is entering a new dynamic, and with it a new organization, based on a clear and structured working method, at the heart of which the DGS and the HRD have an essential role in my eyes. This is why I count on you gentlemen and on your respective experience to support the territorial reorganization and respond effectively to the expectations of the administration and our citizens, ”said the President.

The President then introduced the new HR Director Paul DOLLIN, who has been in the community for 24 years, until now Director of People's Autonomy at the Solidarity and Families Pole, whose human and technical qualities and his discretion have been praised.

He then welcomed Philippe MOUCHARD, whose rich institutional and political career was built in constant connection with the overseas territories, thus giving him a detailed knowledge of our territories, in particular Saint Martin which he appreciates. Especially.

Around the glass of friendship, the President offered the medal of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin to Philippe MILLON, thanking him for his commitment to the territory and wishing him to enjoy a well-deserved retirement with his family.
