The port of Sint Maarten is preparing to welcome new generation cruise ships from MSC Cruises, as it did for those from Royal Caribbean Cruise. The port management recently discussed the strategy to be implemented with the managers of this company. This announcement follows the unveiling of the name of the new ship “SC Bellissima” built in France, brother of the “Meraviglia”, the largest liner in Europe. “The destination Sint Maarten must be ready (…) this cruise line is a major player,” said Mark Mingo, CEO of the port, adding that this very ambitious company should double in size over the next six years. . _EH
