Ramona Connor, second vice-president under the previous mandate, was absent from the territorial council Thursday, April 26.
She must sit in the opposition under the label of En Marche towards progress (MVP). She was proclaimed by the Council of State to replace Alain Richardson who had resigned and ineligible on April 11. But "she has not yet received official notification from state services," explained President Daniel Gibbs. So she preferred not to come. This decision follows the rejection by the national campaign accounts commission of the MVP list account led by Alain Richardson in March 2017.
