Mail from readers "It's high time to get to work on the French side"!

"I was able to read with attention the article which appeared last Wednesday in your" Mail from readers "section (note:" The debris of carbets still present in Orient-Bay "and I can tell you that I adhere to 200% in this one !

Indeed, I have traveled, myself, the beach of Orient Bay over its entire length. Clearly, it is a shame not to say scandalous!

What tourist wants to come to this beach?

Saint-Martin experienced a cyclone of violence never known to date and today I wonder if all the leaders of the community live on this island? Take a tour on the Dutch side and you will realize that we are no longer on the same island. We work everywhere!

French side too you will say to me. This is correct except that the work is not quite the same. On Monday April 23, coming back from the Dutch side to go to Marigot via Bellevue, I could count about fifteen people cutting the grass along the road! I must have been dreaming.

Three weeks ago, I went to Anse Marcel which today looks like a battlefield after a bombardment, what a desolation! What a shame !

I hope that the hurricane season will be fairly calm, otherwise Saint-Martin has problems to do! A word to the wise ... _TP

We only see what we want to see !! Or we don't see what we don't want to see!
How to compare the range of Philipsburget to the BO? No relationship between the damage!
A full east coast and a full south coast further protected by the hills!
Look up a little and you will see on the French side a number of teams on the roofs !!!
Thanks to its deep water port, the boats certainly dock and bring the beach to life on the Dutch side!
    But that's all!
But just like with us, tourists do not come to stay.
    Lack of housing!
We do not have a deep water port or an international airport !!
By the way, where is the Dutch airport? !!!!

There is no greater blind man than he who refuses to see.
It is not a comparison but the reality unless you refuse to see it and especially to admit it. When in my eyes, I must open them more than you. We are talking here about reviving tourist activity, the real lung of the island. Each part of the island has a very different specificity. I invite you to contact the management of RIU hotels and ask them why they will not be rebuilding on St Martin anymore and this is just one example among hundreds of others.
By the way, review your spelling then you can continue to write the rejection of reality. We will talk about this in a very short time. Have a good day.

Thank you for your advice on my spelling. With you, and I thank you for it, I learn that we must write “QuanD to me…”… I who thought that we wrote: “QuanT to me” It is beta on my part!
Ditto for "why they will not rebuild any more" ...
    Thank you for the lesson!
